Omega3s may boost athletic performance
I have long advocated the liberal use of omega3s - most often for their triglyceride-lowering and inflammation-reducing properties. Athletes typically require more omega3s (and just about everything else just because they burn through nutrients faster).
However, a couple of recent studies suggest that in competitive cyclists, omega3s can increase performance while increasing blood flow to the legs as well as reduce fatigue.
